The working-style questionnaire
The questionnaire is 25 questions and takes about five minutes. You answer it once.
What it measures
Your answers are scored across five working-style dimensions — things like how you process information, make decisions, handle change, prefer to receive feedback, and like to be recognised. The combination maps you to one of 32 archetypes, and Harmonic writes your playbook from it.
What it doesn’t measure
It’s worth being clear about this:
- There are no right answers. It isn’t a test, and there’s no score to do well on.
- It isn’t a personality diagnosis. It describes work preferences — how you like to collaborate — not who you are.
- It doesn’t measure your mental state. Harmonic deliberately doesn’t do mood tracking, sentiment scoring, or anything of that shape. See Privacy & trust.
Tips for answering
Answer for how you actually work, not how you think you should. The playbook is a tool your teammates will use to work with you better — the more honest the input, the more useful the manual.
If two options both feel true, pick the one that’s true more often. The dimensions are spectrums, not boxes.
Afterwards
Your persona is revealed, your playbook is written, and your team gets a small celebration that you’ve joined. From there, take a look at your playbook.
