Playbooks and archetypes

From answers to archetype

The questionnaire’s 25 questions are scored across five working-style dimensions. Your position on those dimensions maps you to one of 32 archetypes — named styles like “Thoughtful Builder” or “Empathetic Analyst” that capture a recognisable way of working.

An archetype isn’t a box; it’s a headline. The dimensions underneath show where you sit on each spectrum, and two people with the same archetype can still differ in the details.

The written playbook

From your dimensions and archetype, Harmonic writes your playbook: a bio, your feedback style, how you navigate change, and your recognition language — four short sections in plain English, generated by AI from your actual answers and readable in under two minutes.

Why archetypes help a team

Names make patterns discussable. “I’m a big-picture person and you’re detail-first” is a hard conversation to start from scratch; “I’m a Visionary, you’re a Builder — look where we differ on this dimension” gives the same conversation a neutral, shared vocabulary.

Browse your team’s archetypes on the People page — seeing the mix is usually the moment a team realises why certain pairs click and others grind.
